Delivery And Returns

Australia Wide Deliveries
Local deliveries of Large Original artworks are arranged through an independent contractor, where you will need to be home to accept delivery. Delivery fees are quoted at the time of purchase. Smaller canvas or paper art works will be shipped via Australia Post.

Delivery Timeframe
Depending on where you are located within Australia delivery may take approximately 2 weeks, as all Large original paintings are shipped via an Art courier/transport company and is therefore dependant on their run schedule. As I am located on the Sunshine Coast, the Art couriers may not visit more than once a week for pick-up. If you live outside the capital cities please let me know in your email, and I can look into delivery timeframes for your specific location. Those smaller artworks shipped via Australia Post are dependant on Australia Post normal delivery schedules.

International Deliveries
Original paintings can be shipped internationally, they do get removed from the stretcher bars, and are shipped rolled in a tube. Upon receipt you will need to take the painting to your local framer, who can re-stretch the canvas, and frame if you wish.

Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with Australia Post or the courier company directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of sharonhughes.com.au

Returns Policy
Due to the sensitive nature of transporting art, returns and exchanges are not offered on original works of art simply for change of mind.

All artwork is handled with the utmost care during the packaging process. In the unlikely circumstance of your delivery being damaged in transit, please photograph the packaging PRIOR to opening the delivery and then photograph the damaged art inside. Send images to sharon@sharonhughes.com.au   
For originals or small originals that are damaged during transit, I will replace it with a commission.

Statement on Colours
 Actual painting colours may vary from colours shown on your monitor.
It’s important to note that they may look different in real life than what you see on your computer monitor. Different monitors will have slightly different contrast and colour ratios settings. Your Desktop and your mobile phone may also give you slightly different colour representations of the same painting.

This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently.
We try to edit our photos to show the products as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor.
